Second Blog camp was held in Pune on Saturday... I was there.
It was a totally Awesome event. I have attended a few Barcamps and a Blogcamp before so this time I was quite comfortable there.
What I loved this time around was that most of the bloggers who turned up were newbie bloggers who just started blogging or wanted to know what blogging is?
There were awesome people like Meetu who took a session to inspire people to find a niche of their own. One thing you are most passionate about and blog on that.
Because thats how one creates quality content and expect readers to be interested.
Then there were pro's like Ankesh and Ankur who have made a lot of money over blogs. They gave us tips and tricks about SEO and content handling and make your blog one of the best out there.
Talking of making money and great blogging, the star attraction was a 15 year old cool dude named @farrhad. Aparently, everyone already knew him and were taking snaps with him.
After hearing Boy Genius, Wiz Kid, etc a few times I finally met him. He sports a twitter readership of almost 6000 people and took a session on 'How can even teens make $2000 a month by blogging?'
Am sure now I have everyone's attention. :P But he is very humble and approachable. If you want tips and tricks and anything related to blogging he runs a forum at his website www.farrhad.com
Now, I wonder what I was doing when I was 15... pretty much same I guess... watching movies... chasing girls... sigh.
Tarun was great as the un-organiser of the event and also as a speaker. People intersted in photography should definitely visit his blog.
Also, the star of the whole event was my brother Abhishek Thakkar.
He did his stand up comic act to narrate his journey of blogging. He had started blogging when even blogger wasn't there.
Currently he is on a break but he plans to resume soon. His act was much appreciated and even Pune Mirror covered it in its Sunday edition.
As if all this was not enough, we went to Meetu's place for some Chai and Pakoras, to be followed by a Beer-tweetup.
Yes, by now you would have realized am sending all twitter links. I realized the power of twitter over a few beers.
I had a wonderful time with awesome friends like Smithy (whom I have a feeling Zeba is going to love :P)
Here's a pic of the tweetup.
All in all a big fun event. Always great to be in company of fellow bloggers.
Next time, I wish to see some of you around too. And needless to say, do visit these awesome people if you want to read some awesome content.
Stay awesome! :D

Loved reading about your Blog camp Aniket. I didn't even know such a thing existed!
Sounds like a great way to meet new blogging friends and get new ideas.
You're lucky to have your older brother, he seems to be a great inspiration to you.

Margaret,
Thank you for taking out time and reading this. Its a great community and a very fun event. It was inspired by Barcamp, which is a global phenomena where start ups meet.
You should start a blogcamp at Munich too. :P
And yes, I am very proud of my brother. If it wasnt for him I would have not been introduced to the world of novels, computer, movies, rock, I can go on forever...
